It had become hard to live in France which was occupied by German forces with the beginning of the Second World War. She could continue to live in her apartment in Ritz Hotel with a special permission thanks to her relationship with a German soldier, Hans Gunther von Dincklage. Although she was investigated after the end of the war, she went scot free. Many people says that Chanel’s friend Winston Churcill was of service to her on this subject. On the other hand, her relationship with a Nazi soldier during the occupation drew reaction of the people.

When Charlotte Bronte was married to the assistant of her father, she was 37 years old. After a year, she departed this life with her unborn baby. Bronte has four books on the brink of Jane Eyre, whose one edition was printed after her death, Shirley, Villette and The Professor.
The poem Charlotte Bronte wrote when she was 13 years old named “I’ve been wandering in the Greenwoods” was sold for a price over 140.000 dollars in an auction in London on 10 April 2013.
