On January 30 2014, Le Jules Verne, the restaurant on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, will celebrate its 30th anniversary with an exclusive dinner attended by French chef Alain Ducasse himself.
Ducasse has created a 9-course menu to fete the 30th anniversary of his restaurant with each course paying tribute to the writer known for such novels as “Around the World in 80 Days” and “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the iconic tower at 125 meters above ground. There’s valet parking available, and guests need to get to the south pillar of the tower between 7 and 8:30 p.m. that evening. The price is €550 per person. Needless to say, advance reservations are necessary.
